Investing in Local Education
At SA Pecans, we believe that growth begins with learning. Recently, we had the privilege of welcoming Grade 10–12 Biology learners from Futurum Academy to our pecan processing facility, where Manie van der Merwe guided them through the plant and Dr André du Toit from SA Seed Development shared insights into plant physiology, bringing classroom concepts to life.
In support of our local matriculants, we also surprised the Grade 12 learners of Futurum Academy, Hoërskool Hartswater and Grey College with small exam packs to encourage them during their final exams.
For SA Pecans, giving back to the community and investing in the next generation of growers and agricultural innovators is what truly matters.
Caring for Our Employees
Our employees are our greatest strength. Regular mobile health clinics ensure easy access to care, while annual programs on financial literacy, women’s rights, and personal development empower our team in work and life.
Celebrating Women and Men at Work
In celebration of Women’s Month, SA Pecans recognised the hardworking women and men who contribute to the success of our operations. Together with our partners, the day included free health checks by the Department of Health and a financial wellness session by Nedbank, supporting the well-being and development of our team.

From supporting the CANSA Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness to contributing to local initiatives, SA Pecans stands proudly with causes that matter. Dressed in our ‘pinkest pink’, we join hands with our community to raise awareness, promote wellness and spread hope.
