Export & Compliance
To export pecans, processors must follow strict South African export standards that ensure quality and food safety. Every consignment is inspected for moisture levels, cleanliness, size uniformity, and defects. Nuts are packed in approved containers, clearly labelled for full traceability from the farmer's field to the end user through our data management system, and are inspected by independent PPECB export inspectors before export approval is granted. These safeguards ensure that South African pecans meet international requirements and consistently reach global markets in top condition.
In-Shell Size Specification & Export Standards
SA Pecans sources premium nuts from trusted local growers and processes them in a modern facility to meet strict international export requirements. Every batch undergoes comprehensive quality control, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with global standards.
Our pecans are carefully graded according to size and kernel yield (SKR), with only the highest-quality batches selected for export. We offer a range of in-shell sizes, from Jumbo to Small, providing flexibility to meet different market and customer requirements.
